Purple patch brings good results for Downs Stables
HORSES at Downs Stales, Findon, continue to run into good form, with trainer Nick Gifford enjoying a purple patch, including two long-priced horses at Cheltenham.
Tullamore Dew, who had been beaten only a nose in the Tikram handicap at Fontwell Park last year, put in the performance of his life to finish an 80-1 second in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham.
Dee-Ee-Williams performned well there and other winners have begun ti flow with Sonning Star and Alderluck.
