Notts County part company with Harry Kewell

Notts County have parted company with Harry Kewell after just 14 matches.

Kewell has had a tough time since he left the Broadfield Stadium on Friday August 31 to join Notts County.

Kewell's last game was a 4-0 defeat to Barnsley in the FA Cup.

Notts County Cchairman Alan Hardy told the BBC: "We see no reason to continue with something we don't think can work.

"Results have not been good enough and performance levels are a continuing concern."

Director of Football Selim Gaygusuz said at the time: “Harry Kewell made it clear earlier this week that he wanted the opportunity to speak to Notts County which we granted. Matters concerning compensation for the remainder of his and Warren Feeney’s contract have now been concluded successfully."
