Dermot Drummy was pleased with his side's attitude despite getting knocked out of the EFL Cup at Molineux.

The Reds lost 2-1 with Enzio Boldewijn scoring their solitary goal and Mark Connolly being shown a red card in the 89th minute.

But head coach Drummy told the club’s website after the game: “The attitude was fantastic and we march on now. We had some wonderful chances - it’s the composure.”

And he also praised the 111 fans who made the long trip to Wolverhampton.

He said: “Thanks to the fans, they were nice and vocal and they appreciated our efforts at the end.”

Wolves boss and Italy legend Walter Zenga said: “Crawley deserve our congratulations. They played very well with good spirit and organisation.”
