RYAN RUNS RIOT

A PAIR of Chittys helped Arundel show Clymping who was boss in their match on Saturday, in an inevitably fiercely-fought local derby.

Ryan, Chitty junior, was in great form with the bat. His winter's work and cricket in Australia has obviously produced immeasurable improvements to his strokeplay.

He was involved in a third-wicket stand of 103 with Arundel's Aussie recruit, Richard Thomson, before Ryan Chitty was run out for 70, an innings which included seven fours and a six.

Thomson went on to thrash 76, with eight boundaries and two maximums, and set up Arundel to reach 200 off the final ball of their permitted overs.
