Students in running for champ honours

TWO fencers from Worth School have gained a place in the British Youth Championships.

Year 11 student Oliver Plumb won the under-16s and Chris Kirkman of Year 12, was awarded a bronze medal in the under-18 category at the South-East Regional Foil Championships hosted at Worth.

Their successes qualified both boys for the British Youth Championships, which take place in the new year. Oliver's winner's medal in the foil category will go alongside that which he won in the epee just a couple of weeks ago.
