A powerful Foresters team led by Man Of The Match Jens Weigel (3) well supported by Adam Daley (2) and Tony Morris (2) had too much firepower for Premier strugglers Horsham, Gary Pells (1) Graham Barnes (1) Dennis Hayden (0) battled away and recorded two precious points.

Trebles from Graham Green and John Callcut prevented Horsham gaining a foothold against two-man Crawley.

Horsham’s Steve Barby led the way yet again with a great treble, Tony Catt and young superstar George Hazell weighed in with two each.

Matt Craig fought a great rearguard and did his average no harm with a double, Gerry Pugh and Richard Steel not contributing.

Gary Bristowe won Copthorne’s solitary point. Man Of The Match Erik Van Mol with a terrific treble led the way, he was supported by Chris Vincent (3) and Harry Collins (2).

A superb treble from Foresters’ Prakash Varsani could not secure a match victory Prakash supported by Garry Bonner (1), Johnny Clarke registering a rare duck, fell just short to Spinners in this feisty match, Steve and son Dan Pound won doubles and captain Rory Scott chipped in with one.
