Triathletes ready to make a splash
A field of around 300 is expected for the Bexhill Lions Triathlon tomorrow (Sunday) morning.
Well over half the line-up is from outside East Sussex and one is even coming from France for the 750m sea swim, 20km bike and 5km run.
The action will get underway from opposite Sutton Place, near Galley Hill, at 7.40am. There will also be a shorter event for children aged 13-16.
Proceeds from the event will go to Sussex Air Ambulance and St Michael’s Hospice with some funds retained in the Bexhill Lions Club Charitable Trust Fund for charity projects in and around Bexhill.
