Judged by a panel of industry experts, this year’s BotB Festival Weekend will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 13-14, in Horsham Park’s Human Nature Garden.

The final of the covers competition will take place on the Saturday afternoon with the final of the originals competition taking place in the evening. As a special treat, last year’s covers and originals winners, Catfish and Team New Band, will play while the judges make their decisions.

The event will come to a close on the Sunday afternoon with the final of the acoustic competition, with last year’s winner Jodie Munday performing while the judges deliberate.

Prizes to be won include a professional music video and photoshoot, studio time, an iTunes single release package and much more.

This year, the weekend will have a circus theme with workshops for kids, themed food and drink vendors and professional circus performers on site.

Co-organiser and local musician Jamie ‘Stan’ Stanley said: “Last year’s event was fantastic. We expect this year’s event to be even bigger and better. So if you’re in a band and fancy having a go, get your entries in now via the website.”
