It’s not an event the public can attend.

Instead, the event will be a video live stream on Thursday, June 11 starting 6pm until 10pm on their Facebook page.

The stream itself will be free to access but will feature a donate button to raise funds for The COVID-19 Urgent Appeal which was launched by NHS Charities Together to acknowledge and support NHS staff, volunteers and volunteers impacted by COVID-19 across the country. Remy Haudecoeur, the pier’s operations manager, said: “The money raised is funding grants to help NHS charities support NHS staff, volunteers and patients in ways above and beyond what NHS funding can ordinarily provide.

“On the night, guests can enjoy a night of musical pleasure from disco to house to techno. Gracing the decks will be DJ Pedro Sedso, Chris Spencer, Maklipz and Oli P.

“This event presents a perfect opportunity for us to raise funds for the NHS whilst entertaining music fans in the beautiful environment of our 121-year-old pier against a backdrop of the famous Brighton coastline at sunset.

“We are really hoping that people will give generously on the night in appreciation of the amazing work done by NHS front-line workers during the coronavirus crisis.”
