Bernardi Music Group’s Stradivarius Piano Trio, comprising violinist Andrew Bernardi, pianist Maria Marchant and cellist Jonathan Few, will perform together for the first time in several months on Sunday, October 11 in a charity concert in the 19th century Italianate mansion, Leonardslee House.

In aid of Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice, the concert which begins at 6.15pm will see the trio perform a programme of music by Bach, Beethoven, Schumann and Sally Beamish with tickets available for up to 25 people to attend seated in socially-distanced groups to ensure everyone’s safety, and for those who are unable to attend, a livestream will be made available through the Bernardi Music Group Facebook page. A live auction will also take place prior to the concert performance and for those attending in person, drinks and canapés will also be served, within COVID-19 guidelines.

Surrounded by 240-acres of Grade I Listed Gardens, parkland, lawns and forest areas, Leonardslee House is the setting for one of the Stradivarius Piano Trio’s annual concert series.

When Leonardslee opened its doors in 2019 following a major refurbishment of the house and gardens, the trio was the chosen ensemble invited to lead a new world class concert series at the venue.

Andrew Bernardi said “Maria, Jonathan and I are so pleased to be reunited and making music together once again and at our resident home, Leonardslee House.

“We hope that people will be able to join us as we celebrate this special moment and in doing so also raise vital funds for the important work Chestnut Tree House does to provide hospice care services and community support for children and young people.
