Words and music from Clive Parker-Sharp at Newhaven Festival
Clive Parker-Sharp's new book, the semi-autobiographical work ConeBoy, is teased out in spoken-word and song by Clive and Marshall.
A spokesman said: “The Members, Spizz Energi, and Athletico Spizz 80, are a few of the pioneering punk groups Clive Parker-Sharp has played with, as well as being a founding member and songwriter in 80s mega-band Big Country. He also played with Jesus and Mary Chain spinoff The Expressway, as well collaborating with art rocker Marshall Star. Clive’s first book The Box came out in 2012, is now being adapted for TV as series Mr Bingo.
“Clive Parker-Sharp dramatises his novel ConeBoy via readings and live acoustic music and as part of a tour, musings on his new book.”
