Crawley’s Hawth is looking back on spectacular success with its 2014 pantomime.
Spokeswoman Lorraine McGregor said: “Sleeping Beauty drew more than 27,000 people to the Crawley venue during its three week run.
“That’s a staggering 94 per cent of all the available seats for the show which starred TV favourite Stephen Mulhern, alongside CBeebie’s Cat Sandion and impressionist Hilary O’Neil.
“The smash-hit pantomime had all the ingredients of a perfect festive family treat – with glamour, romance, comedy, song, audience participation and stunning special effects, including a terrifying fire-breathing dragon called Helga!
“Feedback from audiences throughout the run was overwhelmingly positive and came from all directions with families taking the time to stay behind and comment in person and hundreds taking to Facebook and Twitter.”
