Greening Steyning launches new monthly online discussion with environmental authors

Greening Steyning spokeswoman Joanne Knowles said: “Green Books is our new free initiative, a monthly online discussion with leading environmental authors to engage, educate and inspire, and we'd like to let as many people as possible know about it.

“2020 saw vegetable seed companies running out of stock as more and more of us picked up our trowels and started growing our own.

“The good news is it doesn't have to be hard work! Charles Dowding, the leading British expert in no dig vegetable growing, is taking part in a free talk on Thursday 4th February hosted by Greening Steyning.

“Whether you have been growing veg for a while or are just starting out, now is the perfect time to find out how easy it can be to grow your own vegetables. His latest book No Dig Gardening - from weeds to vegetables in 6 weeks is for anyone interested in the no dig method. At the free, online talk Charles will be explaining the simplicity of no dig, why it works so well and how much time you can save.”
