Brighton ‘step up’ interest in Fulham target, Man Utd keep ‘close tabs’ on PL goalkeeper

Brighton return to action this weekend against Liverpool.

The Seagulls are currently fourth in the table, with 13 points from their first six matches, and would maintain their spot in the Champions League places with a win.

For their part, the Reds are eighth with nine points, and will have their sights set on moving to within a point of Roberto De Zerbi’s side with a positive result at Anfield.

Chelsea are targeting AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. Several European clubs are said to be eyeing up the Algerian, but the Blues hold an interest “above all”. Milan could demand as much as £44.6 million for the player. (Calcio Mercato)
