Crawley's rubbish and recycling timetable for Christmas and the New Year is as follows.

If your normal collection day is MONDAY, your rubbish will be collected today (December 21), Wednesday December 30 and Tuesday January 5.

Your recycling will be collected today (December 21) and Tuesday January 5 if you are part of the Week 1 collection, and Wednesday December 30 and Monday January 11 if you are Week 2.

If you are not sure which your recycling collection falls in, log on to the Crawley Borough Council website to find out.

If your normal collection day is TUESDAY, your rubbish will be collected on Tuesday December 22, Thursday December 31 and Wednesday January 6.

Your recycling will be collected on Tuesday December 22 and Wednesday January 6 (Week 1) or Thursday December 31 and Tuesday January 12 (Week 2).

If your normal collection day is WEDNESDAY, your rubbish will be collected on Wednesday December 23, Saturday January 2 and Thursday January 7.

Your recycling will be collected on Wednesday December 23 and Thursday January 7 (Week 1) or Wednesday December 30 and Wednesday January 13 (Week 2).

Please do not put your general rubbish out on December 30 as it will not be collected.

If your normal collection day is THURSDAY, your rubbish will be collected on Thursday December 24, Monday January 4 and Friday January 8.

Your recycling will be collected on Thursday December 24 and Friday January 8 (Week 1) or Thursday December 31 and Thursday January 4.

Please do not put your general rubbish out on December 31 as it will not be collected.

If your normal collection day is FRIDAY, your rubbish will be collected on Tuesday December 29, Monday January 4 and Saturday January 9.

Your recycling will be collected on Tuesday December 29 and Saturday January 9 (Week 1) or Tuesday December 29 and Friday January 15 (Week 2).

RURAL COLLECTIONS will be made on Wednesday December 23, Saturday January 2 and Thursday January 7.

Recycling will be collected on Monday January 4 and Thursday January 14.

Please do not put your general rubbish out on either of these days as it will not be collected.

Collections may not be made at the usual time of day during a holiday period, so please ensure your rubbish and recycling container(s) are placed out at the edge of your property, not blocking pavements, by 7.30am on your collection day, and are clearly visible.
