Man airlifted to hospital with '˜serious injuries' after workplace accident

A man was airlifted to hospital this morning, after a workplace accident in Shipley Bridge.

A statement from Sussex Police said: “Police are currently at the scene of an industrial incident in Antlands Lane, Shipley Bridge in Surrey.

Emergency services were called to a commercial property at the site at about 9.42am on (Thursday 7 July).

“A man in his 60s was airlifted to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with serious injuries.

“The Health and Safety Executive has been informed and there are no further details at this stage.”
