Springfit gymnasts took part in the annual acrobatic gymnastics competition hosted by their sister club, Pointers in Warlingham.

This involves partnering with another individual or a team to perform set routines, including twists and tumbles all set to music.

By learning as a pair or group, gymnasts develop their skills, strength and coordination together.

Partnerships are judged on artistry, difficulty of skills and the execution of skills.

The day was filled with energy and the support from relatives and friends was fantastic.

Springfit gymnasts took home a bucketful of medals - including in three Springfit pairs in grade 1 who shared first place with a duo from another club.

Copthorne girls Rachel Barrington and Saskia Spencer, Jasmine Keane and Isabell Ball, who train in Springfit’s classes at Oakwood Sports Centre, Horley and East Grinstead’s Ellie Blackstock and Daisy Maclay should be congratulated for holding their nerve and putting in a near perfect performance.
