Conor Henderson is expected to boost an already buoyant Crawley Town side for this Saturday’s home game against Wycombe Wanderers.

Henderson has missed the last four games through an ankle injury sustained during Reds’ opening game of the season.

Liam Donnelly’s one-month youth loan from Fulham is being extended for a second month but he will miss the game, banned for being sent-off in their 3-0 win at Cambridge.

Manager Mark Yates was delighted with Donnelly. He said: “Liam will be staying on as was always intended. He has been excellent for us and I know he’s enjoying his football. The win at Cambridge was a good performance from start to finish in every aspect.

“The first win was massively important and it was good to get three points against a team which will be right up there at the end of the season.

“Wycombe have had a great start - they only just missed out on going up to League 1.

“Aarron Pierre has scored a couple and new signing Garry Thompson has hit the ground running.”

Yates stressed the importance of the fans.

He said: “The fans were great against Portsmouth and the result contributed massively at Cambridge. We need that again on Saturday!”
