National title for Ed
Warden Park student Ed White (15) won the Elite Kart League Drivers Championship at the Teeside Autodrome, Middlesbrough.
He finished second in the five-minute qualifying session for the grand final and then vied for first place throughout the final itself.
With three laps to go he saw his chance and took the lead with a great move, holding on to it until the chequered flag. Ed was presented with a limited swiss F1 chronograph watch.
